My Magical Demon Lover – Yaoi Press Crowdfunding Campaign has Begun!

We interrupt this month of Lezhin Comics here on Yaoi Playground for a very special announcement for all you Yaoi loving gamers out there!

Crowdfunding has become a popular way of collecting funds for niche projects over the years and it’s success over the last few years has seen awesome games like Undertale come out for the public. Yaoi Press is a western yaoi company I have been supporting for years with purchases of graphic novels like the Yaoi Hentai anthology series (a very hilarious anthology series of yaoi stories exploring various tropes of the genre), Pinned! a yaoi graphic novel about wrestling and my most recent graphic novel review Lily and the Rose is also one of their wonderful graphic novels and I highly recommend any yaoi fan look through their back catalogue of awesome titles.

In recent months they made an announcement of a new venture for the company with the anouncement of Yaoi Press Games which will be focusing on creating visual novel style games for the western market for yaoi fans. The first of these titles they are working on has just released a crowd funding campaign on IndieGoGo to help raise money for this project!

My Magical Demon Lover will tell the story of Tristan, a young man who has dreamed of becoming a wizard and when he gets a chance to make his dream come true he finds out from his Great Grandfather that he is to become a wizard, but he also finds out there is a price to becoming a powerful wizard and that price will be his butt! That’s right, in order to become a wizard he needs a demon mentor that will only help him if he becomes their lover!

The character designs and preview video of the game of the indiegogo page for the game already have this yaoi fan salivating for some hot yaoi action.
